Just last month, the Trump Administration prevented companies like Google and Qualcomm from doing business with the Chinese company.
So, it looks as if the Trump administration may be backtracking a little bit on their controversial and highly publicized ban of Huawei in the United States. Coming as a bit of a surprise, President Trump announced in a news conference that United States companies will be allowed to work with Huawei again. Though the details were not completely ironed out, at this year's G20 summit in Osaka, reports from Android Authority indicate that Trump stated: "U.S. companies can sell their equipment to Huawei.”
“We’re talking about equipment where there’s no great national security problem with it", says the United States President. This decision comes after Trump sat down and talked with China's president President Xi Jinping just this Saturday.
